For listeners who were paying attention, there are deliberate spiritual references in many of the songs of Daddy's Weird. Even the album name implies a father with unconventional or mysterious ways. 

While the album might seem Christian-bible-centric, this is only a cultural reflection. We are believers in the perennial philosophy, the idea that a kernel of truth can be found in most if not all religions. And while some references are overt, others are hidden or inferred. Having said that, here is a list of Christian biblical references you may ponder with each song:
