Sweet Home Records Announces Congo64's Debut Album, Daddy’s Weird, June 30, 2023, Chicago, Illinois
The 11-song album from Chicago-based alternative band congo64 has been released and the sound is an unusual mix of light and dark, 70's punk and 60's harmony-laced pop, yielding a new take on edgy, guitar-driven rock — the virtuoso guitar solo is back!
The current congo64 is the brain-child and "solo" effort of Chuck Firth, former front man and rhythm guitarist of the mostly unheard-of punk and same-named band congo64.
